St. Andrew’s College is on a mission to move Forward. Boldly. – advancing our legacy with vision, purpose, and ambition. This document captures the journey of SAC’s 2025-2030 strategic plan, detailing the milestones that have shaped its development and the steps leading to its grand unveiling. From initial assessments to the final launch, this timeline reflects not only our employees’ commitment to excellence, innovation, and the future of SAC but also that of our entire community of parents, past parents, Old Boys, and students.
🧱 Laying the Foundation
- September 2021-April 2022: Comprehensive research and CAIS Accreditation preparations
- March-June 2022: Community-wide surveys (parents, Old Boys, students, employees) inform strategic priorities
🏛 Building the Vision
- Oct. 2-3, 2022: Board of Governors Retreat sets strategic direction
- October 2022: Submission of CAIS Accreditation Report
- November 2022: CAIS Accreditation visit ensures SAC meets the highest standards
- May 2023: CAIS report received, and SAC School Improvement Plan shared
🛠 Engaging the Community & Refining Priorities
- January 2023 (ongoing): Weekly strategic discussions refine school priorities
- June 2023: Community focus groups with parents, students, alumni, and Board of Governors help shape future initiatives
- Fall 2023: Employee focus groups refine operational strategies
📢 Community Consultation & Drafting
- January-February 2024: Engagement sessions with parents, students, and alumni
- January-April 2024: Pillar groups created, and engagement meetings occur
- March-June 2024: Strategic plan drafted based on stakeholder input
✍️ Finalizing the Plan
- April 2024: Board reviews and refines strategic priorities
- May-June 2024: Final adjustments made based on community feedback
- June 3, 2024: First draft of strategic plan completed
- June 6, 2024: Draft shared for joint SAC/SAS Leadership Teams review
- September 2024: Approval of the official term Partnerhood by the Leadership Teams and Board of Governors to solidify our partnership with St. Anne’s School
🎉 Launch & Implementation
- June-August 2024: Refinements ensure alignment with the school’s mission
- September 2024: Final plan presented to the Board of Governors
- November 2024: Board approval of the strategic plan
- January 2025: Partnerhood video filming and development of a Partnerhood song
🚀 February 12, 2025: Official launch of Forward. Boldly.
