Nurturing Wellness
Practicing Well-being & Developing Resilience
We commit to a holistic approach to well-being, building a culture where students and staff balance resilience, health, and wellness.

Our Approach to Well-Being
Promote Healthy Lifestyles:
Redefine what it means to live a healthy life by elevating the conversation around wellness through advisory, assemblies, Health & Physical Education classes, and athletics. Aim to create a movement that prioritizes physical, mental, and emotional well-being as essential pillars of success during and outside academic time. Intentionally structure wellness into the daily routines of the school community for students and staff.
Create a Culture of Care:
Transform our community by empowering staff to nurture every student’s potential and equipping students to support one another. By embedding a culture of care and connection into every aspect of our school experience, including comprehensive training and professional development, our staff become skilled mentors who understand the unique needs of each student. At the same time, teach students empathy, collaboration, and peer support to grow into compassionate citizens who uplift and nurture their peers. This approach builds a school culture where everyone is invested in each other’s growth and well-being, making the Andrean community stronger, more resilient, and greatly connected.
Integrate Wellness Initiatives:
Seek new opportunities for innovative wellness initiatives which can be leveraged to uplift and support students and staff. Lead the way among Canadian schools in redefining what wellness means in our community. By exploring new approaches to health and well-being, we commit to initiatives that go beyond the ordinary and are tailored to meet the needs of our students and staff. Through mindfulness programs, physical fitness challenges, mental health resources, and holistic wellness practices, we ensure that wellness is at the forefront of our philosophy, resulting in a healthier, happier, and balanced community.
