WELCOME TO THE PARTNERHOOD

Partnerhood Vision Statement

Through an intentional partnership between St. Anne’s and St. Andrew’s,
we provide opportunities to foster healthy relationships, cultivate a sense of belonging,
and enrich experiences beyond academic classes.

We stand on the verge of exciting and unchartered possibilities, ready to explore a future full of potential. As we step into this unknown territory, it’s only fitting that we solidify this partnership with a new word that describes what we’re embarking on.

This relationship is more than an alliance – it’s a revolutionary approach to education, where both schools, one a school for boys, the other a school for girls, retain their unique identities while working together to create unparalleled opportunities for students. St. Andrew’s and St. Anne’s, with two heads of school and two campuses, are overseen by one unified Board of Governors, ensuring that our shared vision remains aligned. Our overlapping values of creativity, humility, integrity, and resilience cement this partnership, guiding our journey together forward.
SAS

St. Andrew’s and St. Anne’s are not just teammates, confidantes, buddies, or companions—although elements of all these exist within our connection. What we are creating together is a new kind of relationship between two schools and two communities: one a brotherhood, the other a sisterhood.

Welcome to the Partnerhood—a groundbreaking concept redefining how we think about collaboration and community. This is where tradition meets innovation, where two schools traverse their separate campuses but come together in a unified vision – equipping young men and young women for a world of extraordinary possibilities. Together, we are more than just independent educational institutions; we are a Partnerhood, setting a new standard for what it means to educate, inspire, and connect.

This is where the best of both worlds come together to create something entirely unique. We invite you to be part of this journey, to experience the Partnerhood firsthand, and to contribute to the ever-evolving story of St. Andrew’s College and St. Anne’s School.

Intentional partnership:

The intentional partnership between St. Anne’s and St. Andrew’s provides students with a unique educational experience that blends the strengths of all-girls' and all-boys' learning environments with the benefits of co-ed schools. The classroom experience is tailored specifically to the learning styles and needs of students in each school, allowing them to focus on their academics and develop confidence in their abilities. Outside the classroom, the schools develop authentic opportunities for students to come together for co-curricular activities, building collaboration and meaningful relationships. This balance of all-boys' and all-girls' academics and the opportunity for joint co-curricular experiences enable students to gain value from the best of both worlds.

Foster Healthy Relationships:

Fostering healthy relationships between students encourages positive, respectful, and supportive interactions that promote understanding, collaboration, and empathy. This involves teaching students to appreciate differences in perspectives, break down stereotypes, and develop mutual respect. By interacting in our shared environment, students build emotional intelligence, develop conflict-resolution skills, and learn to support one another’s growth in personal and co-curricular settings. These experiences foster long-lasting, meaningful connections and enable students to grow into well-rounded, socially adept individuals.

Sense of Belonging:

Fostering a sense of belonging ensures when students come together, they will do so in an inclusive and supportive environment where they feel valued, connected, and accepted. When students feel they belong, they are more likely to participate actively in joint activities, build meaningful relationships, and collaborate effectively. This unity strengthens their emotional well-being, boosts their self-confidence, and creates a shared identity that transcends individual school campuses.

Enrich Experiences:

Enriching experiences beyond the classroom benefit students from both SAC and SAS by fostering personal growth, skill development, and social interaction that complement their academic learning. Joint activities, such as sports, arts, clubs, and leadership roles, challenge students to step outside their comfort zones, promoting teamwork, communication, and adaptability. These co-curricular pursuits mirror real-world situations, preparing students for future success while building a sense of community and meaningful relationships. Students develop empathy, collaboration, and mutual respect by participating in a shared environment, leading to a more holistic, well-rounded educational experience.
We are committed to building a sense of belonging in our community.
By dedicating ourselves to creating a diverse, inclusive, and equitable environment, we will foster and accept the unique individuality of each of our citizens, ensuring all members feel valued and respected.
