Student achievement celebrated at Prize Day Assembly

The Sept. 5 Prize Day Assembly was a celebration of achievements, where the air buzzed with excitement as students received a variety of accolades including awards, ties, plaques, medals, and books for their accomplishments in the spring 2023 term.

The Upper School gathered in full First Dress in Ketchum Auditorium for the assembly dedicated to honouring the success of boys who were in Grades 9 to 11 last year. The June Prize Day had celebrated the graduating class.

The reading of the land acknowledgement started the assembly, followed by a greeting from Head of School Kevin McHenry. He welcomed all the new boys along with new faculty and staff.
The next speaker was Head Prefect, Ethan Fleming, who revealed the theme for the school year is our 125th birthday, with an emphasis on the school’s rich history and traditions.
