St. Andrew’s was decked out in fall glory to welcome students, parents, and guests to a day of sports, school spirit, and fun.
On Sept. 28, the campus was awash with red and white spirit wear as we watched and cheered on our Saints playing a full slate of fall sports. We celebrated in style as part of our 125th birthday year as the Parents Guild offered temporary tattoos and prizes with a 125 theme.
The Quad was home to a host of fun things to do and try, such as inflatables and face painting, and the Parents Guild hosted another delicious bake sale.
Students and visiting athletes enjoyed a lunchtime barbecue in the Amphitheatre while parents and Old Boys were invited to a delicious buffet lunch in Cole Hall.
Shoppers were attracted to the vendor marketplace in Staunton Gallery, and a shuttle took interested people over to St. Anne’s School for a tour of Dunin House.
SAC was the place to be Saturday, as evidenced by the huge crowds. Head of School, Kevin McHenry, gave a special thank you to all those who planned the day and to the staff members who rose to the challenge of having so many people drop by.
“I was so proud to hear so many positive comments about our beautiful grounds and, more importantly, our incredibly nice and helpful people,” he said.
